When we dance and where we dance

Embodydance Santa Fe dances every Tuesday from 7:15–9:15 pm at the beautiful StudioNia Santa Fe, 851 W. San Mateo, every Thursday from 6:30–8:30 pm and every Sunday from 3pm–5pm at the Railyard Performance Center in the heart of the downtown Santa Fe Railyard district—where the renaissance of Santa Fe is occurring—on a 2,000 sq. ft. luscious sprung maple hardwood floor. The Performance Center has a beautiful airy cathedral ceiling with skylights of natural daylight for Sunday’s Dance and lower-level lighting for Thursday night’s Dance. Outside balconies accessible for fresh air are on 2 sides of the space. A purified water fountain is located near the bathrooms. Children are welcome to attend the Sunday dance.

Beginning
Each 2 hour Dance Event consists of:

• Warm-Up: 30–40 min.
• Opening/Presentation of Intent/Theme: 5 min.
• Main Program: 60–70 min.
• Shareback Circle/Names /Community Announcements: 15 min.

The Tuesday dance has moved to a new space at a new time, 7:15–9:15pm at StudioNia Santa Fe, 851 W. San Mateo (near Second Street Brewery) just past the RailRunner tracks. This conveniently located, modern and roomier space can accomodate the growing number of people who are finding the Tuesday dance to be an interesting alternative or addition to our community’s other dances!

We dance on over 1800 sq. ft. of sprung dance floor, with great sound, ample parking and changing rooms. There is already a group of “Tuesday evening regulars” and we invite you to join us at this great new space. Our first dance there was held on Tuesday, March 23, and everyone who attended was impressed with the great feeling this room has and the thoughtful attention to detail that the owners of StudioNia gave to this location.
